The Prunus spinosa is a shrub with heavy-duty thorns. The blackthorn is used in Northern Europe and Britain to make hedges for cattle. This antique botanical print shows the blackthorn fruit, or prunus spinosa, which is similar to a small plum, apparently used for preserves. Blackthorn supposedly makes great firewood, and the prunus spinosa is also a traditional wood in making canes.

Absolutely love my invites, I used the watercolour palm design, using HD print on Champagne shimmer pearl paper! I’m so happy with them. The colours & design are perfect, I didn’t change the design at all just the wording.
Unfortunately during postage, some of my invites are now slightly crushed on the corner. Disappointing since they are for a wedding & they are less than perfect. They could be wrapped better to protect them. Very happy with the quality of the printing and the paper used
