This classic checkerboard style tile faux encaustic pattern features fleur-de-lis motif (lily flower) in pale pink red and beige. As a heraldic symbol, the lily flower has a long history and was used on coats of arms, and as a floor tile pattern popular in the Middle Ages (especially in France and England) and during the Victorian Gothic Revival style.
