Antique Persian Qashqai Oriental Rug Design Pillow
This wonderful design originates from an antique Persian Quahqai Oriental rug, circa 1870. The original rug was handmade in southwest Persia as a bagface. Bagfaces, also known as saddlebags, had two decorated pouches and the smaller ones were usually used on donkeys. The centre eight-pointed medallion colours are rose red, pleasing blues, light brown, and white. The field has small flowers and white botehs that may represent leaves, bushes, or pine cones. This pillow will add a beautiful splash of colour.
