Apollo 11 Mission to the Moon Anniversary Key Ring

The historic Apollo 11 mission to the Moon began 50 years ago with the rollout and launch of the massive Saturn V rocket at Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. The Apollo program won the space race and landed the first men on the lunar surface, July 20, 1969. It was followed by other landings that explored the surface and craters of the Moon and returned rocks and soil samples that provided scientific insight into the origin of the Earth and Moon. Our next Moon mission in the decade to come will continue that exploration and set up a base for a permanent human presence to study the Universe and begin commercial operations on other worlds. This commemorative product is a souvenir to honour humanity’s first mission to the Moon.
