Aquaponics T-shirt from Maui, Hawaii

We offer a unique line of products based on our logo, which incorporates the yin yang symbol to represent the interdependency of the elements that make up an aquaponics system. The Chinese character in the top black circle represents "Water," and the character in the bottom white circle represents "Life/Birth." The fish in the white yang area, along with the bio-diversity of the ecosystem, provides nourishment for the plants. The black yin area holds a leaf of the sacred taro plant which sustains life as a food source. The water is filtered and cleansed by the plants as it returns to the fish to complete its cycle. Nature accomplishes this on its own. Aquaponics attempts to emulate nature.
