Arecibo Observatory (Puerto Rico) Coffee Mug

A nostalgia, close-up image of the large antenna of the Puerto Rico observatory. It was the largest radio telescope of the world. One of the scene of the movie, Golden Eye, was filmed on its dish. Sadly, the observatory was heavily damaged by an earthquake in January 2014 and during the hurricane Maria on September 2017. On 2020 the cables holding the dish broke and it collapsed.
