This beautiful picture of the Earth from space was taken from the NASA Orion spacecraft heading for lunar orbit after a successful launch upon the Space Launch System on November 16, 2022 in support of the Artemis 1 Moon mission. It is reminiscent of the “blue marble” image of Earth taken from the Apollo 8 spacecraft on Christmas Eve, 1968.
