Asano Takanoha Watch

[Asanotakanoha] This name was derived from 'Monten.' In "Teimon no Kenkyu" (Study of Jomon) written by Manjiro FUKUI, this is referred to as 'Aki Asano family, Chigai Takaha' and Takanoha, different from Asanomaru, is referred to as the honmon of the Asano family with 420,000 koku crop yield of Agihiro Island, a daimyo (Japanese feudal lord) (P101). The Asano family of Chushingura was a branch family of the Asano family. The crest of the Asano family also had a kaemon (alternate pattern) of omodaka arranged on a half-opened fan called 'Asano Ogi' and was used together with 'Maru ni Mitsuhiki' (three-folded fan).
