as well. This was photographed in Hope Valley, CA. just outside of Lake Tahoe in early fall. This valley features towering pine trees, the Carson river running through meadows and is surrounded by tall mountain peaks. However, what really makes this place special is the Quaking Aspen trees and their vibrant fall colours. This is what draws thousands of people here each Autumn. In the background you'll see two carved bear cubs hanging in the trees.
