This vintage underground hippie magazine cover from 1971 features an astronaut relieving himself on the moon with cans & litter around him as a symbol of both the rebellious counter culture of the 60's mixed with environmental awareness of the 70s'. I found this adult humor Mother Gross magazine when I was 9 - too young to understand it but I liked the Crumb inspired artwork.
