Audubon Long-Billed Curlew Bird Postcard
Audubon Birds - The Long-Billed Curlew
John James Audubon created this beautiful long-billed curlew bird illustration with Charleston's skyline in the distance. The long-billed curlew is a sandpiper, and the drawing is a reproduction based on an original aquatint engraving with hand colouring. It was first published in the original Birds of America books produced between 1827-1838. It is thought that only 120 complete sets of John James Audubon’s Birds of America still exist today.

Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
