Australian Kookaburra Coaster

The kookaburra is a famous Australian bird from the kingfisher family, and well known for it's laugh. It lives in the old gumtree, as the song goes, and is the merry king of the bush. I took this photo of the unique bird sitting on a branch high in the gum tree in the Grampians, a mountain range in Victoria Australia as he had just caught something in his beak for dinner (a very large bug, maybe?)
