Mmmm avocado. Did you know it's actually a berry? I have this memory of a fruit farm in Florida we visited where you could pick up any fruit on the ground and start eating it. (You couldn't pick off the tree - I guess that prevented over picking?) I picked up a huge succulent avocado that looked like someone else had eaten part of and started eating it. (I ripped into a part that hadn't been mouth-touched, was covered by green rind.) It was soooo good. Haha I probably wouldn't do that today. And it was a magical place with tons of mango trees and coconut trees and oooo now I wanna go back. I hope it survived the pandemic 🤔 with different picking rules.
