The Aztecs were very fond of this idea, and many of their relics have depictions of monstrous serpents on them. The Quetzalcoatl was another serpent that the Meso-American people created. The Quetzalcoatl was very similar to the twin headed serpent, except it had giant, feathery wings, and only one head.
