B56 Burrowing Owl Puzzle. When I was a kid, forty plus years ago, these cute little owls were found all over the prairies. They don't actually burrow themselves, they take over abandoned badger holes. Unfortunately DDT contamination in the seventies and eighties and loss of nesting areas to farming has made them a rare sight.
