A cute bunch of babies wearing monocles, sporting bowlers, boaters, and top hats, wrapped in newspaper, all tied up in blue ribbon, hanging from a brick wall. Wonderful multibabies postcard. Multibabies refers to a type of illustrated postcard from the early 1900's that featured heavily populated scenes with numerous babies. This once popular and rather unusual genre appears to have been influenced by late Symbolist painting.
