Hush-A-Bye, baby, on the tree top,
When the wind blows, the cradle will rock;
When the bough bends the cradle will fall,

A baby sits in a wicker cradle suspended in the top of a blossoming tree in this illustrated nursery rhyme from 1919. A bird nest is on a lower branch and one bird is perched on the cradle. The other bird is in flight beneath a crescent moon and stars in a greenish night sky.
