You select the background colour by clicking "background" on the left side os screen, click on the "+" sign and pick from an endless array of colours by sliding the bar at the bottom. Then copy the colour code and apply it to the colour box at the right. Once you have edited the wording and colour, click "done" on top. (Pix).
