Newport's Best Kept Secret Reject's Beach (as the locals call it) is located at the very end of the Cliff Walk. It is the discarded remains of Bailey's Beach - a very prestigious and very private beach in Newport. There is even a rope that goes across the sand and extends out into the ocean to insure the rejected scum won't intrude into the private lives of Newport's rich and famous. C'est la vie... Hop on your bikes and mopeds because there isn't any public parking, but the limited access has its rewards. Reject's Beach is by far the cleanest of all the Newport beaches and the water is often quite clear with out a lot of stinky seaweed. There is always a spot to lay out your beach towels and soak up those glorious UV rays, or find your own private cove if you feel adventurous. Just off the end of the Cliff Walk path there are numerous swimming holes available by exploring the rocky cliffs
