Bamboo grows everywhere here in Florida with a multitude of species that comes in many different colours. Yellow bamboo is one of my favourites. Bamboo is an incredibly tough wood, which is why it makes beautiful floors and is used in many products for long lasting value. The greatest testimony to its remarkable resilience is in being the only tree that can withstand nuclear exposure. On a more happy note, the sound of the hollow, strong bamboo rattling in the breeze makes a soothing sound.
