The embroidery pattern recalls the wanderings of the Israelites through the Wilderness of Sinai. Their journeys are listed in Numbers 33, and those place names, from Rameses to Jericho, are stitched around the border. A medley of blackwork patterns evokes their travels towards the Promised Land. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it.
