This design features the national flag of Bangladesh (officially known as the People's Republic of Bangladesh), which is a country in South Asia. Bangladesh is among the most densely populated countries in the world. Bangladesh shares land borders with India to the west, north, and east, and Myanmar to the southeast; to the south it has a coastline along the Bay of Bengal. It is narrowly separated from Bhutan and Nepal by the Siliguri Corridor; and from China by the Indian state of Sikkim in the north. The capital and largest city of Bangladesh is Dhaka, which is the nation's political, financial and cultural centre. Chittagong (officially known as Chattogram) is the second-largest city and it is the busiest port on the Bay of Bengal. Other major cities in Bangladesh include Gazipur, Narayanganj, Khulna, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Cumilla and Barisal. An inhabitant of Bangladesh is known as a Bangladeshi. The country's official language is Bengali.
