Bannack Ghost Town Mainstreet 2 - Montana Poster

Bannack was a high desert gold rush boom town in the 1860's. It had all the drama and life of a western frontier mining town, but the gold played out and the miners left. The town struggled on for a few decades and finally died in the early 20th century. It is pretty much in a state of condition as the miners left it and run as a Montana State Park. On the left is the Meade Hotel reputed to be the most haunted site in Bannack. On the right is Skinners Saloon, which was the favourite hangout of Outlaws, murderers, and drunks.
