He is often seen as a symbol of vigilante justice—a dark knight who operates outside the law but never strays from his core principle: never to kill. His dual identity as Bruce Wayne and Batman reflects the duality of man—publicly a playboy billionaire, secretly the guardian of Gotham. In essence, Batman represents the idea that anyone, given the will, discipline, and resources, can rise above adversity and become a force for good.
