About This Design

bay of fires tasmania calendar

bay of fires tasmania calendar

Photographic any year calendar featuring twelve original photographs of the stunning Bay of Fires in the north-east region of Tasmania, Australia. Available for any year - remember to select your start date and chosen year on the sidebar before adding to cart. The Bay of Fires (indigenous name: larapuna) is a bay on the northeastern coast of Tasmania in Australia, extending from Binalong Bay to Eddystone Point. The bay was given its name in 1773 by Captain Tobias Furneaux in Adventure, who saw the fires of Aboriginal people on the beaches. The Bay of Fires is a region of white beaches, blue water and orange-hued granite (the colour of which is actually produced by a lichen). The northern section of the bay is part of Mount William National Park; the southern end is a conservation area.

I was looking for a small, vertical calendar that I could fully customize with my own pictures. This one worked out great! My pictures turned out great - better than I thought they would - clear, sharp, great color!

Before purchasing, I contacted Naomi about the recommended size and layout. She recommended the single page so that the front cover will look right. She also recommended either the small or medium size. I purchased the medium size calendar, single page layout per month, and I love it! The photos are beautiful! I understand that the smaller size is 11" x 7" and I wanted something larger than that. The medium size measures 16.5" x 10.75". The images look great!
