Bayon Temple Cambodia Magnet
Bayon Temple is a richly decorated Khmer temple located within the ancient city of Angkor Thom in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th or early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII, it is famous for its massive stone faces carved into its towers, which are believed to represent Avalokiteshvara or the king himself.
The temple is a masterpiece of Khmer architecture, blending spiritual symbolism with intricate bas-reliefs depicting historical events and daily life of the Khmer Empire. Its serene yet mysterious atmosphere makes it one of the most iconic and photographed sites in the Angkor Archaeological Park.
