Photographing honeybees on our huge blooming California Lilac is such a wonderful challenge, and it's our small attempt to ensure future generations of these tireless little workers. We are able to enjoy the fruits of their labours in the fruits and vegetables we harvest in the summer and fall, and the colourful flowers that flourish, sometimes late into the year, in our climatically mild part of the world.
