My second encounter with a male Mountain Bluebird. We are gifted, albeit very briefly, with the presence of these beautiful songbirds at the start of the spring season before they head to higher ground to breed. Those stunning cerulean colours stand out on a dreary landscape, even from a distance. When he wasn't busy diving for insects on the local beach, he was highpointing it on driftwood and stalks of dessicated tansy. Photographed at Boundary Bay Regional Park in early spring 2017. The 4X6 flexible, photo magnets are very sturdy and high quality. I especially like the rounded edges. Unfortunately, the cuts of the edges are a bit rough and jagged, which you can see in the photo, below. The edges can be trimmed with very sharp scissors but you do risk making the edges uneven. The printing on this project was a little bit fuzzy, the cause of which may be something on my end. I intend to contact customer service to see if there's anything I might do to improve the crispness of the image or if the issue lies with the printing, itself. Also, the product is just a bit darker than the original. Again, I intend to troubleshoot this, with customer service, to be sure where the issue lies.
