About This Design

Beaver at Work Postcard

This postcard captures a tree trunk that has been almost completely gnawed through by beavers. The tree is on a rather steep creek bank and chewed at the perfect angle to roll down into the water. What incredible animals they are! Mainly nocturnal, these large, semi-aquatic rodents are famous for building dams, canals, and lodges (homes). They are the second-largest rodent in the world. Their colonies create one or more dams to provide still, deep water to float food and building material. The water also acts as a protection against predators. The text reads: Beaver at Work. It can be customised or deleted.

Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
