About This Design

Between Refusal and Failure 6 Cm Round Badge

Selective mutism, once defined as a refusal to speak, is now defined as a failure to speak, and there is a "world of difference" between those two ideas. The first implies a choice, while in fact, selectively mute people try and fail to speak. Design based on the design by Sydney Turner.

As an educator, I was thrilled to find something to help raise awareness to this disorder that effects some little people I love. The button was able to generate conversations so I could Explain this very misunderstood condition. to people. I haven’t seen merchandise anywhere else! I would have liked the writing to have been bigger. It is hard to read.

Cute designs, clear, bright and well priced as well. Utterly love it and so does Low Vision brother. A million times better than the boring and expensive Blind Foundation ones. Will buy again for sure. Perfect, good design, clear and colourful.
