    This product features the cover art for the vintage book "Piet Pelle." "Piet Pelle was biilled as "an artistic picture book for children aged 8 to 80 years." (Wikipedia) It was first published in 1912 as a free book, intended as promotional material for the Piet Pelle Gazelle youth bicycles. The book shows Piet Pelle undertaking incredibly wonderful adventures on his bike. The book, created by the Dutch artist Ko Doncker (1874-1917) of the Gazelle Bicycle Factory, was tremendously successful.
