About This Design

Bidean nam Bian, Glencoe Scotland landscape

Bidean nam Bian, Glencoe Scotland landscape

This image of Glencoe, Scotland was taken from Stob Mhic Mhartuin, on the path between the summit of the Devil's Staircase and the start of the traverse of the Anoach Egagh Ridge. The photography has been digitally enhanced for artistic and dramatic effect. From the left you can see Stob Coire Sgreamhach , Ben Fhada, Bidean nam Bian, Stob Coire nan Lochan , Gearr Aonoch. From the left, under Ben Fhada, you can see the entrance to the Lairig Eilde pass which splits Glencoe and Glen Etive. Snaking its way in the bottom third of the photograph is the A82 which is the main West coast of Scotland trunk road from Glasgow to Inverness via Glencoe and Fort William. Bidean Nan Bian is the highest peak in the Glen at 1150 metres. Ben Fhada , Gearr Aonoch and Aonoch Dubh are known as the Three Sisters of Glencoe. This card would be ideal for lovers of Scotland's mountains, wild places and the great outdoors. If you wish you can delete the text or transfer the image to another product. I’ve left the inside of the card blank to allow you to write your own message.
