The original Bipolar Bear icon, designed by Kevin Reader, this is what Kevin came up with when I tried to describe to him the experience of living with the emotional spectrum that is bipolar disorder. It's not the happy/sad black/white picture that is the butt of many crappy jokes about bipolar, it's actually a full range of intensity which is sometimes good, and sometimes bad.
