Blue Jay Mug

The text reads: "Hear! hear!" cried the jay from a neighbouring tree, where I'd a twittering for quite some time, "Winter has a concentrated and nutty kernel if you know where to look for it." ~ Henry David Thoreau 28 November 1858 journal entry The Blue Jay was inspired by a 1760s American watercolor by an unknown artist; the chestnut, seed pod and tiny garden spider by late 16th-century works.
