Blue Water Kanji Japanese Calligraphy Poster

A kanji is the Japanese word for Chinese character. Chinese characters represent an idea into one character. Typically, one part of the kanji is the meaning of the character, while the other gives it the sound. They are usually combined with other kanji to make complex words. This modern poster has Japanese calligraphy for the kanji 水. It means water. Water in Japanese is pronounced mizu.
