HMM166 on Zazzle Image honouring lot Geoff Blumenfeld and his wife Ashley. Prior to completing flight training, each student aviator is required to complete 5 small-deck ship landings performed on the Helicopter Landing Trainer (HLT). On Oct 16 Geoff flew a TH-57C helicopter to the HLT and Ashley was lucky enough to witness the event (most likely the only wife to ever greet their husband on the HLT). The PAO Ashley was working for at the time arranged her visit to the ship so she could wa h Geoff land and write a ece for the Gosport (the base newspaper).
