Incorporated into the design of this product is a beautiful print of “Flamingo and Other Birds in a Landscape” painted by Jakob Bogdani. Jakob Bogdani (1658 - 1724) was a Hungarian and British artist well known for his still life and exotic bird paintings. He was born in Hungary but moved to London in 1688 and found success as a specialist still life and bird painter at the court of Queen Anne—several of his paintings became part of the Royal Collection.

The mug, itself is a sturdy, thick material that feels like it would be hard to break. I would probably make another in the future. The printing is crisp and I like how it’s not raised! It’s also on both sides of the mug...so there’s no issue which hand you use!
