Book Lover's Tote
My mother was a lover of books. Raising 5 daughters, yup 5, she still managed to cook, sew, weave, keep sheep, and read, among many other things. I painted this mandala for her, in honour of her love of books and reading. I remember sitting with her as we read stories, and then I to my little sister, and then to my sons. It is in the reading that we can grow, have adventures, and sow relationships and a lifelong love of learning. Thank you mum.
