Book Ship Ocean Scene with Emily Dickinson Quote Canvas Print
This beautiful, original fantasy wall canvas is based around the Emily Dickinson poem that begins, "There is no Frigate like a Book To take us Lands away." The quote appears at the bottom, below a masted sailing ship made of an antique book. The words from the poem are scrawled throughout. They're torn-looking on the sails, they wrap around the balloon in the distance, and they decorate the wings of a dragonfly that has a pencil body. They even faintly appear on the faded rainbow. Meanwhile, book seagulls fly away while a killer whale and a purple squid surround the book ship. It's a pretty, surreal scene for any book lover, avid reader, writer, English teacher, librarian or bookstore owner. The canvas sides are bordered in a bookshelf pattern. Very impressive product! The canvas is sturdily made. It features a saw tooth hanger on the back, making it easy to "try out" the canvas in several rooms until I found the best location. It attracts good comments from my friends. I love it! The printing is wonderful! Colors are as bright and crisp as they appeared on the website.
