Botticelli Madonna Adoring Child w/ John Baptist Ceramic Tree Decoration

The painting "Madonna Adoring the Child with John the Baptist" by the Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510) is a tondo (a round painting) representing the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus with child John the Baptist. Both Madonna (to the right) and John the Baptist (left) adore baby Jesus, on their knees, Virgin Mary having her hands clasped in prayer. Madonna is blond, wears a blue cloth and a red undergarment. John the Baptist is a here a few years old boy (not an older baby, like in other paintings) with long hair and a fur cloth and a cross in his hand. Baby Jesus lays on the ground. In the background there are two red rose bushes on the left and right. The golden frame is adorned with pine cones. The painting is in the public domain in the United States, the European Union and all countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 100 years or less.
