Botticelli Madonna of the Pomegranate Child Angels Ceramic Tree Decoration

The tondo painting "Madonna of the Pomegranate", also known as "Raczyński Tondo", by the Renaissance artist Sandro Botticelli (1445-1510) is a tondo (a round painting) representing the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus accompanied by 6 angels. There are3 angels on each side of the Madonna, all of them looking like beautiful teen boys with long curly hair. On both sides, there is one angel with an open book in his hand and another with a lily (symbols of purity). Virgin Mary has blonde hair covered by a transparent veil and looks in front of her. Baby Jesus, in her arms, has a pomegranate in his left hand and raises his right hand like blessing. The painting has a round golden frame. It is in the public domain.
