Botticelli Primavera Renaissance Floral Goddess Coffee Mug

Primavera (c. 1482) is a masterpiece by the Italian Renaissance painter Sandro Botticelli. This iconic tempera painting depicts a group of mythological figures in an orange grove, celebrating the arrival of spring. At the centre stands Venus, the goddess of love, while the Three Graces dance gracefully to the left and Flora, adorned in flowers, scatters blossoms. Above, Cupid aims his bow. Botticelli’s exquisite use of flowing drapery and intricate botanical detail creates a dreamlike, poetic atmosphere. It remains one of the most celebrated and analysed works of Western art history.
