This small 10" x12" oil painting was done in March 2014. It shows the famous pier at Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, from the cliff tops during a summers morning. Already some holiday makers are settling down on the beach which will become very busy as the day goes on. In the distance can be seen the Purbecks.
The pier, in its current form, was built in the 1950s and features a theatre.
