Boxer, Mediaeval Bestiary Art Notebook

Boxer, Mediaeval Bestiary Art Notebook On a freshly mown park lawn, a fawn Boxer stands proud with a white chest and a dark muzzle, looking ready to bound off after a ball. Green grass and shady trees fill the scene behind it. The scholar's entry says its play is a bold and joyful thing, and this Boxer is clearly waiting for the game to start. That joyful bounce of a dog at play shapes the whole design. A large gold drop cap opens the name BOXER, with a red subtitle, of the Park Lawn, set beneath it over a small black ornament. A short scholar's entry in old style lettering fills the left column, and a framed window on the right shows the fawn Boxer standing proudly on a green park lawn. A small gold emblem shaped like a clover marks the lower left corner. Fawn and white coat, lawn green, and shady leaf tones sit on a parchment tone page with darkened, burnt looking edges, inside a border of blue and red acanthus vines, red and gold flowers, four small songbirds, and thin gold rails. • Fawn Boxer ready to play on a green park lawn • Gold drop cap B, red subtitle of the Park Lawn, and a short scholar's lore entry • Fawn, white, and lawn green on a parchment tone page with a blue and red floral border • Part of the Mediaeval Bestiary Notebook Collection from Dog By Breed
