A vintage children's book illustration by Honour C. Appleton titled "The Fairy Boat" depicting a young boy and his dog sailing in a small sailboat. The boy eats strawberry jam straight out of the jar while the dog looks on longingly. Honour C. Appleton (1879-1951) was an English illustrator and artist who illustrated over 150 books in her career, beginning with children’s books and moving to literary classics.
