I designed this fabric to make masks for a group of neurologists. The fabric is very nice quality, and the print is clear (although some have mistaken the brains for coffee beans). I don't think it is reasonable to only wash cotton in cold water, so I washed the fabric in warm water before sewing. As those who sew know, the best and easiest way to find the true grain of the fabric is to tear it at the edge, so I did that. When done, I only had 32 inches of width, which was disappointing. That is why I rated it as a 4 rather than a 5. The print is clear (although some have mistaken the brains for coffee beans). The background color is exactly as I planned.
