Retouched and restored from an 1895 travel advertisement for Bretagne (Brittany), France by Hugo d'Alesi. Frédéric Alexianu, aka F. Hugo d'Alesi, was a French painter and graphic designer, born in Hermannstadt (Principality of Transylvania) on February 10, 1849 and died in Paris on November 11, 1906, who made a large number of tourism posters for railway companies in the late nineteenth century.
