Bridge is not a game, it is SERIOUS! Playing Cards

In February, 2020, my granddaughter did a photo shoot of me for her University Photography class assignment. We had lots of laughs while she raided my closet and jewellery box for just the right stuff. The fur jacket, she found in storage, belonged to her great grandmother. She put this first photo shoot (titled “Fur Jacket”) together from items found around the house. We had so much fun in 2020 doing the first shoot, we decided to do another one in 2021. This shoot was more involved with 5 more themes we titled: Leather Jacket, RockStar, Pug and Me, On the Rocks and Lifting Weights. Enjoy and have fun reading the humourous sayings inside! For all my original watercolor paintings in the shop, I use the 'limited palette'. Red, Yellow, Blue. This produces all the shades and hues you see in my paintings. Red, yellow and blue transparent watercolor in both warm and cool shades can be mixed to obtain any colour in the spectrum. I find there is more control over the final results. My artwork covers a wide range of subjects. I paint whimsically humourous, one-of-a-kind art to serious fine art. However, my passion is painting portraiture of animals and people. I love to capture the emotion of the moment. Both subjects have their own personalities. This makes the end result very challenging AND rewarding. My primary medium is watercolor.
