Later this became a red stylised eleven-point leaf, appearing on a white and red background on the country's flag. The term "eh" is commonly associated with Canada. As a Canadian I say eh all the time, eh. It's pronounced "a" as in "ay" or "late". It's often lampooned by Americans and also Canadians, as we like to poke at ourselves too, eh, and was especially promoted by comedians Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas, who created the famous and funny Canadian stereotype characters Bob and Doug McKenzie. Of course you can customise this design if you want. You can replace the text with your name, another word or short phrase, whatever your heart desires (as long as it fits in the allotted space); or delete the text and just keep the big red maple leaf.
