About This Design

Brigid of the Flame Ceramic Tree Decoration

Brigid, goddess of the hearth, poetry and healing, cradles a living flame in one hand and holds a woven rush St Brigid's cross to her heart, a white cow grazing among the spring wildflowers at her side. Bordered in gold and crimson Celtic interlace, it is a warm tribute to Imbolc and the first stirrings of spring.
